Built for UK service businesses

Sway is designed for appointment-based UK businesses: salons, saunas, massage, yoga, barbers, nails, training, and aesthetics, not generic e-commerce. Pricing is in pounds, support understands local booking habits, and our legal pages describe how we handle UK personal data.

Your clients stay yours

We don't sell leads or take marketplace commission for sending you bookings — including when clients discover you on Sway. Clients who book are your customers. We do not resell your client list to third-party marketers.

Payments through Stripe

Online card payments run through Stripe, a widely used UK processor. Card data is handled by Stripe’s PCI-compliant flows, not stored in plain text on our servers. You connect your own Stripe account and receive payouts per Stripe’s terms.

Privacy and security practices

  • Privacy Policy and Terms published on this site, updated with material changes.
  • Booking and account data stored to run the service, not for unrelated advertising profiles.
  • HTTPS across the app; role-based access for team members on multi-staff plans.
  • You can contact us via the Contact page for data questions.

Honest pricing

Plans are published on our business page. No marketplace commission on bookings. Platform fee applies only when you choose to take online card payments; pay-at-venue bookings do not incur a Sway platform fee.

Calm product choices

We avoid dark patterns: customers are not forced to create a browsing account before checkout, and we do not inflate listings with fake urgency. Features on the roadmap (native mobile apps, commission tracking) are labelled clearly when not yet shipped. Gift vouchers, passes, memberships, discount codes, and loyalty rewards are available on Individual and Team under Commercial settings. Customers can book multiple group-class spots in one checkout and save contacts to book on someone else's behalf.

Who operates Sway

Trader and contact details appear in our Privacy Policy and Terms, including how to reach us for support or legal enquiries. Configure your legal entity details in production so footers and policies show accurate UK operator information.
