Customer tags & marketing consent
Tag customers, manage opt-in, and segment your audience for campaigns.
Quick answer: Open Marketing → Customers to search your audience, create tags, and see who has opted in to email marketing. Only opted-in customers can receive campaigns.
Overview
The Marketing customers table lists everyone who has booked or messaged you. Use tags to group customers — for example VIP, new client, or yoga regular — then target campaigns at a tag. Marketing consent controls who is eligible to receive email campaigns and automations.

Marketing consent
Customers opt in to marketing when they tick Send me news and offers at booking checkout. That consent covers email only. You can turn marketing off for a customer, but you cannot turn it back on unless they opt in again — for example at their next booking.
- Email on — customer opted in and marketing is active
- Email off — customer has not opted in, opted out, or you turned marketing off
- Blocked customers are excluded from campaigns
Warning
You must only send marketing messages to customers who have opted in. Campaigns automatically skip anyone without consent or a valid email address.
