Staff time off

Mark when team members are unavailable — holidays, sick days, and personal leave.

Quick answer: On Team, open Team → Schedule for a bookable member, then add time off on the Time off tab. All-day or partial ranges remove that person's availability without closing the whole business.

Overview

Staff time off marks when an individual team member cannot take appointments — annual leave, training days, or a few hours out. Unlike business-wide closures, time off only affects the selected person. Their slots disappear from your booking page while colleagues may still be available.

  • Per-person — other staff keep their availability
  • All-day ranges or specific start/end times
  • Optional label (e.g. Holiday, Sick)
  • Shows on the calendar and in iCal feeds

Note

Whole-business closures (everyone off) belong under Scheduling → Time off & blocks, not per-staff time off.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Team

Find the staff member who will be away.

    Look for: Team

  2. Open Schedule

Click the ⋮ menu on their row and choose Schedule.

The Time off tab lists upcoming leave and the add form.
  3. Add time off

Enter an optional label, choose All day or set from/to times, then save. Multi-day leave uses date ranges when All day is on.

    Look for: Add time off

  4. Confirm on the calendar

Time off appears on the team calendar. Customers booking that staff member won't see slots during the period.

Click time off on the calendar to view or remove it.
