Overview

Sway sends transactional emails for bookings — confirmations, cancellations, reschedules, and other alerts on every plan. The only paid email feature is automated customer appointment reminders. Missing emails are usually spam filtering or a typo — not a broken booking.

Business alert emails go to your contact address on every plan.

If you're a customer

  1. Check spam and promotions

Look for mail from Sway or the business name. Add the sender to your safe list.

  2. Confirm your email address

A typo at checkout sends confirmation to the wrong inbox.

  3. Check your dashboard

Sign in to your personal dashboard — the booking appears there even if email is delayed.

  4. Wait a few minutes

Email delivery is usually instant but can occasionally lag.

If you're the business

  1. Know what your plan includes

All plans send confirmations and alert emails (including cancellations). Automated customer reminders require Individual or Team.

  2. Check your contact email

Open Account settings and confirm your business contact email is correct.

    Look for: Account

  3. Check in-app notifications too

New bookings and cancellations also appear in your dashboard and notification bell, even when email is delayed.

  4. Ask the customer to check spam

Corporate and school filters often block automated mail.

Note

Sway does not send upgrade or marketing emails about email features. Appointment reminders simply start when you subscribe to Individual or Team.
